The Mescalero Apache tribe opened the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino in March 2005. The 300-acre property in Mescalero, New Mexico, offers 18 holes of championship golf, 40,000 square feet of meeting space, a 38,000-square-foot casino, and 273 rooms and suites.
The Ted Robinson-designed golf course, host of the 2005 New Mexico Open Golf Tournament, ranks as one of the state’s best. Known for its fast-breaking greens, the course plays long and hard from the forward tees and features an island fairway.
