Wrapped in aquamarine lagoons and white-sand beaches, the sprawling Atlantis resort on Paradise Island takes the good life to the next level with an outstanding championship golf course and the Bahamas’ most luxurious spa.
Home to the annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational, the 18-hole Ocean Club Golf Course places Paradise Island on the international golf map. Tom Weiskopf designed the stunning layout, known for its invigorating play and spectacular ocean views. Alternating fairways, meticulous seaside greens, and breathtaking signature holes make Ocean Club a genuine pleasure to play.

Visitors to Mandara Spa at Atlantis discover a full menu of massages, facials, body treatments, aromatherapy, and salon services in an ambience of sublime luxury. Past the spa’s trademark water-wall, which features tropical flowers encased in resin panels, guests step into a world of Asian-style service and exotic spa treatments.

Specialties range from immersion in fresh, jetted seawater in the outdoor thalassotherapy pool to intoxicating coconut body scrubs.

More pampering awaits in the Utopia Room’s array of steam rooms, sauna, and tropical rain showers.

One of the finest convention and events venues in the Caribbean, the resort offers 100,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, including the 25,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, plus a range of poolside, beachfront, and lawn function areas that accommodate up to 3,000 for dinner or 4,000 for receptions. Entertainment for groups draws on a wealth of local talent, including fire and limbo dancers, calypso bands, and Junkanoo carnival shows.

At the heart of the property lies an expansive 34-acre waterscape that includes the largest man-made, open-air marine habitat in the world—11 exhibit lagoons containing more than 50,000 aquatic animals representing 200 species. The waterscape also encompasses swimming areas, a quarter-mile Lazy River Ride, and a replica of a Mayan temple with water slides. To complete the undersea tableau, The Dig offers an archaeological interpretation of how ancient Atlantis may have appeared—as irresistible as the modern-day resort that bears its name.
