Visitors can climb 228 steps to the top of Absecon Lighthouse, New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse. The original Fresnel lens dates to 1857.
Moray eels, sea turtles and sea anemones are among the critters on display at the Atlantic City Aquarium, located at Historic Gardner’s Basin. The main exhibit spotlights fish of the mid-Atlantic Ocean.
Every August, the Atlantic City Airshow brings jets from yesteryear out of retirement for a day of mind-boggling aerial displays. Views from the boardwalk are great; views from the ocean are even better.
