The par-71 golf course at Tallgrass Golf Course in Shoreham, Long Island measures over 6500 yards from the back tees. It was designed by Gilbert Hanse, ASGCA, and opened for play in 2000.

Opened in May of 2000, Tallgrass Golf Course was ranked No. 7 on Golfweek’s 2014 list of “Best Courses You Can Play” in the State of New York. This fantastic course is located in Shoreham, New York and in Long Island’s Suffolk County.

The course architect, Gil Hanse, was named 2009’s “Architect of the Year” by GOLF Magazine (Reviews). In addition to the stellar golf, Tallgrass Golf Course offers a picturesque, Hampton’s-style clubhouse complete with a casual, pub-style restaurant and large event catering; a fully-stocked pro shop; and a grass driving range.
